Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This document describes the tracking tools (cookies and similar technologies) used by pizzeriaemivita.it, the purposes for which we use them and how you can manage your consent, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Cookie Guidelines (10 June 2021).
What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser by the sites you visit. They make the site work, remember your preferences and — in some cases — measure how the site is used. We use the term "tracking tools" to also cover similar technologies (e.g. localStorage, pixels, embedded scripts).
Cookies can be "first-party" (set directly by us) or "third-party" (set by external providers). They can be "session" (deleted when the browser closes) or "persistent" (with a duration defined by the provider).
Strictly necessary cookies (always active)
They are essential to make the site work and to remember essential preferences. They do not require consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
- NEXT_LOCALE — Stores the selected language (first-party, 1 year).
- emivita_consent_v2 — Stores your cookie preferences (first-party, 12 months).
- Technical session cookies set by Vercel for load balancing and security (first-party, session).
Preference cookies
They improve the experience by remembering interface choices (e.g. animations state, custom cursor). They do not profile you and are not shared with third parties.
The dynamic scroll effects (multi-row parallax gallery, sticky sections, 3D tilt, ken burns photo loops, velocity-reactive marquee) are purely client-side, executed locally in your browser via the Framer Motion library and set no cookies, no tracking and no data transfer to third parties. They are automatically disabled when your operating system reports the "reduce motion" preference.
Measurement tools (anonymous statistics)
With your consent we enable the following anonymous, aggregate measurement tools. We do not use profiling cookies nor behavioural advertising.
- Vercel Web Analytics — Aggregate metrics on page views and traffic sources. Cookieless: it does not set third-party cookies and does not track users across sites. Provider: Vercel Inc. (USA). Legal basis: consent.
- Vercel Speed Insights — Anonymous collection of Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) to measure performance. Provider: Vercel Inc. (USA). Legal basis: consent.
Third-party services that may set cookies
Some content on the site is served by third parties that, when you interact with it, may set their own cookies. In particular:
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) — Web font loading. May record the IP address and user agent to deliver the service. Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy
- OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK) — Map tiles on the Contact page. Privacy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy
- WhatsApp / Meta (Meta Platforms Inc., USA) — If you write to us on WhatsApp the conversation is governed by WhatsApp's privacy notice. Privacy: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Facebook / Instagram / TikTok — The footer links open our social profiles. We do not embed tracking widgets or pixels on our site.
- Iubenda (Iubenda S.r.l., Italy) — Hosts the full policy documents. Privacy: iubenda.com/privacy-policy/65675001
How to manage your consent
On your first visit we show a banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject them or customise your choice by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can review and change your choices at any time by clicking "Manage cookie consent" in the footer. Your consent is stored for 12 months; after that we will ask again.
How to manage cookies from your browser
You can view, block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Blocking all cookies including strictly necessary ones may impair site functionality.
